How did it start?
I was taught how to play by my cousin when I was around 10yrs and I'm still bad but love to play with new people. How did you start playing chess?

Learnt from my Dad. Then it was one of the best games to play on computer. Anyone remember the default Chess Titans on computer? Played against the computer leveling each difficult. Eventually, played in school tournament. I was junior champion with 1 loss (The loss was from a fried gambit (can’t remember a name), still mad about not seeing that). But know that I didn’t know how to castle or en-passent. Also I didn’t know the rules for promotion, as much of everything the computer highlights the applicable squares. Hard to know in person especially as you need duplicate pieces to Queen. So I never bothered promoting. (It’s primary school level by the way)
