What is up?
I'm sure it's been discussed before, but tell me again why people will choose so match with you then never message. I will always message then sit and wait. You're busy, you're texting others and don't want too much on your plate? If you don't want to text, then why don't you unmatch? People will say it's a two-way street. If I'm the last to text, I expect you to text next. If I am so bold to wait for a response and send another message I risk the chance of more silence. Makes one feel rejected and desperate. We all think/say what we want, but then we don't act on it.

Interpersonal connections established and largely sustained online are generally considered "weak connections". This means that people feel less inclined to abide by the conventions which govern our in-person connections. So, why do people stop talking suddenly? It's because there is far less keeping them engaged or feeling that they owe you time as some kind of courtesy. If they stop talking to you, it's not like they'll see you at work tomorrow. It feels bad, but that's how it is.
