Was anyone else on the 'Porky for smash' hype train during smash ultimate's DLC?

For me all it took was a little nudge to go into the rabbit hole and I thought he would be perfect. A non PSI user, the 2nd mech fighter, the 15th anniversary of MOTHER 3, it felt like the stars were alligning. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
