Turn based JRPGs
Who else is a fan? From Final Fantasy and SaGa to Star Ocean and KEMCO, I sink so much time into these. The Switch has some good options but of course I had some on GBC, GBA, DS, and 3DS, plus they're easy to play on mobile through the shop or emulators. I recently downloaded a romhack if FF1 to try out. I've got an itch for that specific D&D JRPG setup that I can't find anywhere else. Of course I've played the various versions of it already, plus FF Legends/SaGa 1-3, most mainline FF through 12, the Bravely Default series which is basically Final Fantasy under a different name, SaGa Frontier, just finished Star Ocean First Departure R, the Mother series (Earthbound etc), most of the Neptunia series, Pokémon, dabbled with Dragon Quest, you name it. Just got Asdivine Hearts 1 and 2 on sale for Switch (have them on PC but haven't been using it for reasons) and I'm a big fan of the Exe-Create games published by Kemco (Hit-Point makes fun ones too). It's still so fascinating to me how Final Fantasy and SaGa are based on the western TTRPGs Dungeons & Dragons and Gamma World respectively. I've played several D&D games like Neverwinter, Baldur's Gate, and Temple of Elemental Evil but still feel like FF1 was the most fun somehow
