While I do enjoy MvC2 a lot, and respect it as the landmark game that it is (especially with the large roster size), I’ve gotta admit, I prefer Ultimate MvC3’s roster instead. It has more variety in its roster (more franchise representation than just Street Fighter and X-Men), and only one “clone” character (if you’d even call Akuma a clone or Ryu). But I’m curious what others think.

Which Roster do you prefer? MvC2 or Ultimate MvC3?

How to explain to a friend that he doesn't need to take complex characters to master?
In particular, this is Tekken 7&8. I recently got him hooked on fighting games. And he chose Steve Fox. 😶
In fact, I advised him to take at least Dragunov for the time being. But this stubborn man. Still mines Steve. And does not win. It's been half a year already. And he still sits at the rank of Grand Master. Even though he knows all the mechanics of the game, he still can't get out.
( I main Dragunov. And I have Tekken God )

What are some characters you’re hoping to see if they ever greenlight a “Marvel vs. Capcom 4?”

Sup everyone! It's a real bummer there isn't a better fighting game presence here. I can't speak for all of you, but for me finding a friend who also likes to put time into these games would be a big deal. 

Maybe we can try and make it a more active community on here. It would stir the pot and get us meeting each other, plus it would allow the community to grow over time. 

I'm suggesting that maybe we start sounding off here with what we like to play and how we like to play. And we can all agree to just try posting things to #fightinggames and interacting with each other's posts. Get a presence going, ya know?

For me, it was probably Tekken 7. I had played all kinds of fighting games before, but never bothered to really learn one in particular. That didn’t really change when T7 first launched, but it definitely changed when Armor King dropped. Honestly my favorite time spent in a training mode.

My favorite archetype from any fighting game is usually the "Tricky" or "Gimmick-y" characters. I know we all hate to fight them, but I love how fun they are! No one ever talks about the skill you need to properly use a tricky or gimmick character
