Emory Peak, Big Bend National Park

On a whim, decided to go check out Big Bend National Park with a friend. Stayed in Chisos Basin, hiked the the Lost Mine trail, and the Emory Peak/South Rim trail. Total of 27 miles over two days, was a much needed getaway. Bonus Milky Way pic on the last slide. Thanks for looking! (edited)

That's right. Loveliest, not loneliest 😆 I can really enjoy being out on my own, and feeling like I am alone in nature or even on the Earth. Somehow it gives me peace. Can you relate?
