This is part 2 of my hike from Chappel to Chalkney woods... At one point it had been 2 hours since I had heard or seen anyone. I turned round and noticed the deafening silence, except for the erie sway of the trees...  It was only later I learned it was a haunted woods... Where Colchester in the UK had its own Witch trials where hundreds of women were persecuted.

6.5 mile hike in Donald County park in Wisconsin’s Driftless area. Beautiful limestone karst cliffs and outcropping, crystal clear spring fed creek and views. Of course, bar food calories as my reward. 🥇
