On This Day
March 5, 1770 #OTD Boston Massacre: Five Americans, including Crispus Attucks, and a boy, are killed by British troops in an event that would contribute to the outbreak of the American Revolutionary War (also known as the American War of Independence) five years later. At a subsequent trial the soldiers are defended by John Adams. Pictured: This famous depiction of the event was engraved by Paul Revere (copied from an engraving by Henry Pelham), colored by Christian Remick, and printed by Benjamin Edes. The Old State House is depicted in the background.

For my own peace! ☘️
There are days when I would look around and find myself silently asking where everyone went. How things turned out the way they are now, and if I made some bad decisions I can no longer correct.
