It's official I am an INFJ

Or always was? This might be kind of a rant fair warning :) The first time I ever took the mbti test was years ago, and the very first time I took it I typed as infj. At the time the description definitely fit me very accurately. After years of psychological torture I had essentially hid myself from myself? It's like I gave up my own life to try to experience something different.. it was a very traumatic time. But my point is, that I hid myself from myself. Does that make sense? Because for so many years now I have felt like I was trying to find myself again. To find who I really am or who I really was, and to try to connect with my "true" authentic self again. Ik this is a ramble, but it's cool. The more free I feel like I become, the more accurately I feel as if infj describes me again. You know, I read somewhere that infj is a type that can mimic other types. That's what I think I was doing in order to protect myself. Ok thanks bye peace! ♡

I have taken the MBTI test many times since I was 15, (I'm 26 now), I remember almost always getting INFJ, except a few different times I got INFP. I'm probably INFJ because that's what I have gotten the most, and I guess it describes me more accurately I can understand the part at the end where INFJs tend to mimic others, which I thought was just my problem of insecurity and/or not wanting to cause conflict (probably has something to do with it) But I've also learned that having a certain MBTI doesn't say all that much about the person's character and moral behavior And there's unhealthy INFJs and unhealthy of all types so I think it's more important to focus on our character than our MBTI, which is considered pseudoscience anyway. But it is interesting to me

First time I did the MBTI was when I joined here (whenever that was) and I got ISTJ and thought yeah that sounds right. I always thought of myself as a Realist. Not inherently optimistic or pessimistic but try to see what actually is. I feel you on the having to find who you are again.
