NGC 7293 - Helix Nebula

In conjunction with the newest image release of NGC 7293, sometimes referred to as the Eye of God, from the JWST, I present to you my image of NGC 7293. Taken with my Celestron Origin with the Mk 1 camera and the Optolong L-Quad enhance filter (Ha/Hb/O III/S II).

I'm glad to be alive in this day of age.

These images were taken by Hubble, and JWST is appox 100 times more powerful due to new imaging equipment, it's location and temperature, and mirror that's 6x larger in surface area. It's going to be insane!🤯😵‍💫

JWST Inspired Mirror

Just finished crafting my James Webb Space Telescope inspired mirror. Made with laser cut, hand dyed wood and acrylic mirror pieces.
