Barred galaxies are common in the local universe, about 65% of the spiral galaxies have a bar structure. A bar is a central elongated structure, composed of gas, stars, dust. I'm astronomer and my current research is about barred galaxies.

Somehow managed to capture this with a pixel 9. The location where I took this is the surprising part as, where I'm from, light pollution makes it very difficult to take pictures of the night sky, but somehow even managed to get the pleiades star cluster in the photo
