1. To me, it's less of a "should," a requirement, and more something that both of you would want to do. Obviously it's not always possible, for a variety of reasons, but I'd like to be with someone who wants to talk to me and be around me, and I'd want to be the same without her. 2. I mean we're both adults, we're not beholden to each other to report our every move. But I think we should do our best to give each other heads up, so we know we're safe. If it happens it happens, nbd, just more of a courtesy thing than a legal requirement.
