If I remember correctly, there was a competition held several years ago that basically revolved around this guy using the winner's design for their main icon on the channel. The main prize however, was getting a topic covered on the channel. I didn't win, but I did get second place. The YouTuber approached me after the fact, and asked if he could use my design for his Teespring store. He enticed me with the promise that I would receive a small percentage of the proceeds made on sales for the design. He however, never actually paid me, nor approached me on the matter after the fact. Before you think, "maybe nobody actually bought one," I bought one. 

So yeah, I'm not gonna mention the content creator here, lest I give him the attention he doesn't deserve. I'd be less annoyed about the situation if he had just been honest about his intentions, and didn't profit off of the work of others. Nobody likes being lied to.

If you were curious, the Jolly Roger is supposed to signify freelance journalism venturing the Grand Line. Hence the theme of the YouTube channel.

We finally made it to elbaph. After 12 years of weekly reading. I'm excited!!!

I was on the fence whether or not to post this one. Mainly because the perspective was a little wonky, and it’s not one of my better One Piece drawings.

I did want to do the drawing justice though, so I made sure to make it extra dramatic.

This is from one of my favorite scenes in the whole series. Watching it sometimes makes me cry.

Inktober 2020: Prompt 5: Blade

Like the Luffy drawing I showed on here earlier, I used model sheets from the East Blue saga for this drawing of Zoro. Not all of my attempts were to my liking, but this particular pose I felt was one of the better ones back when I drew it years ago. I wouldn't have taken the time to ink and paint it on photoshop otherwise, that much is for sure.
