Cute bodyguard 🤏🏽

Found this kitty when I was buying my cat’s food at petshop. He was standing near the front door, welcoming customers or making sure they pay 😊

What kind of parrot is this?

I bought it because the petshop owner said it was a very special parrot, but it does not eat crackers or bird food and does not talk. Does anyone know the type of this parrot? (edited)

One option is a fluffy snake. It's harmless to humans but still a predator that might bite you if it gets confused. The other is a scary looking hamster. It eats seeds and things like that. Very dangerous but makes a good guard if you train it.
