For once, I want to be the poem and not the poet. I want to be held and caressed. I want to know how it feels to be alive in your heart. For once I want to be your poem,your favorite human in the whole wide world. The star that steals the gaze of your eyes. I want to be the object of your adoration. I want to be the place your mind loves to visit when you zone out of a boring conversation. Can I be your poem? The idea of love that bypasses logic and reason. I want to be your muse. The thought that keeps you reminiscing. Let my ears be the blank slate that makes you feel heard. I want to be both your escape and your reality.
