The official results of surveys examining the attitude of Russians towards a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine show that about 65% of the Russian population supports the war. However, official statistics cause a lot of complaints, so I decided to look for other ways to measure the attitude of Russians to the war. To do this, I decided to choose 2 bookstores in Moscow: the Listva store, which supports war, and the Falanster store, which sells works by anti-war activists and citizens of Russia recognized by foreign agents. I spent the whole day in these stores watching the visitors. And if the once popular, but now pro-war Listva store is visited by at most a dozen people per day, then the conditionally anti-war Falanster store is literally bursting with visitors. Thus, we can say that a Special Military Operation on the territory of Ukraine is not very popular among the Moscow intelligentsia. P.S. Our observations can be extrapolated only to representatives of the Moscow intelligentsia, and not to the whole of Russia. (edited)
