Optimization tip

One thing that I've learned from my work that applies to real life is that premature optimization is a silent killer, and the same idea applies to real life. If you want to succeed in your goal faster and more realistically, stop worrying about the details. Focus on implementing the main features, the primary objectives, remind yourself what the original idea was that motivated you to start it. There will be time to fix the rest. Start slow if you need to, split the big points into smaller ones and start there. Watch yourself finish the small jobs in no time that accumulate into a big one, take a step back and admire how previously you'd be overwhelmed by the mere idea of getting here. Even now, take a look back, just a few years ago you probably didn't expect to be where you are, but you're alive and kicking, and THAT'S pretty cool!
