So we know of such person who does this at the end of the relationship yeah. But what if the woman deletes him off entirely (without blocking) and the man reaches out by another mode for a chance to speak again. The woman does the favour to reinstate his contact, but he went off silent again. Like what is this?? 🤌 Just so the man can see the woman's display pic and not initiate a convo?? Ps. Hypothetical.

Honestly it would be like a control thing. I know some cats like that who just want to know you (the girl) will add him back. It is some weird macho bravado thing that they do. Different way of them saying, if they could you would kind of thing. Honestly, I never understood it because I am one of those emotionally connected folks but, I have actually seen a dude do that. He said, see I knew she would add me back and promptly delete her number. (edited)

That's called manipulation. Been there, best thing is to take your own decision of what you want and act accordingly.

i have experienced this. best to block him, don't let him use you as a "meantime girl". he is most probably just using you as a reserve or to pass time when he has no one else, it is sad and it hurts but you have to accept the reality.
