Lake Superior Agate I found on the north shore in Minnesota and cut in half. I also sliced a smaller slice off and made a pendant out of it

Looking for shiny rocks

Biggest weakeness is looking for rocks, I miss it. In Akransas, Diamond mines I went and found so many beautiful clear quartz.

Any tips on how to start?

I picked up a book called Gem Trails of Washington that lists some cool sites, but it's hard to choose something specific to go look for! I found quartz at Hansen Creek once and it was a great time! I really love crystals over things like fossils.
