Do Aliens exist
The question crops up occasionally. There are 3 possibilities; Yes, no, yes but we never find them. All 3 are terrifying. The more pertinent question is, if yes where are they? There are several awnsers to the Fermi paradox, but frankly the first contact we ever have is quite likely to be "surrender or die" or even just near light speed object taking out half the planet. https://m.youtube.com/@isaacarthur3209 Beat channel I've found on the subject

I've always stood by Fermi's Paradox. If an extraterrestrial lifeform visited us, it is likely to be more technologically advanced, and therefore if it wanted our resources, no doubt it would have the ability to wipe out humans to get to it. And agree with your bit about how we would react; I mean, we kill, abuse and imprison our own species, what do you expect we're going to another who we fear because we don't understand them? Have you watched the Arrival? Loved the film on how we perceive extra terrestrials :)

Is every area of ββstudy scientific?
I'm asking this because I just heard from my philosophy of science professor here at university that not every area of ββknowledge is a science. Example: Mathematics, Law, International Relations, Philosophy, Literature and many others.
