What are your views on the coming neural implants? Do you think it's a good or bad idea? Will we become a type 1 telepathic Human-computer interface, or will this just bring AI closer to bringing humans to extinction like Sapiens did to Neanderthals? For those interested; I've just begun reading a Norwegian book called "Accounts of an old astronaut" by Jon Bing (whom was educated in Law and had some serious insight into technology in his day). Here he really puts out a good display of how implants can be used in a beneficial way and not for malice.
