Anyone ever read this series

For me, it’s The Courage to Be Disliked, which offers a refreshing perspective on Adlerian psychology, and Meditations, which I consider one of the best gateways into Stoic philosophy. Both these entries have challenged my outlook on life in a very positive way.

Happy Wednesday! Just wondering if there is anyone reading this series. It's totally become an obsession of mine for some reason. I only wish my Korean was good enough so I could read it in Korean, too. 

While I don't love what the characters have gone through, I love most of the characters, the world building, the story, the art...it just resonates with me and I don't know why.

Underneath a successfully executed Pratchettian comic horror story, involving a decent amount of well written gore, there lies the true story, one of the best attempts to describe the trauma of grief and berievement I've read in a very long time.

The way Kafka shows how our worth is tied to our usefulness is honestly brutal. Looking back at the story, the real tragedy isn't Gregor’s transformation at all. It’s the way his family changes, stripping away their own humanity once he’s no longer 'useful' to them.
