What are the benefits of a deep fake? The technology seems to be exploited rather than be used for a good cause?
Not sure if this is still relevant but i remember hearing about celebrity deep fakes being used online for nefarious purposes. Even got to a point to where some twitch streamers got affected by it too. Apart from vtubers and large scale movie companies, I don't know anyone else who would use this technology?

Holograms, where are you?
If we already have Hatsune Miku "hologram" concerts, why isn't the actual hologram more widespread and used? What's limiting it? Fragile mirrors? I wish I could just go out and buy a hologram TV and see everything of a football game in 3D displayed over my living room instead of just a flat screen... read more
