Perspective speaks for itself…

✍️ A perspective speaks for itself when it addresses the right point, making it difficult to ignore and easier to accept. The more relevant the point, the less you need to prove your perspective.

Work

It’s nice to work at a place where you’re appreciate and valued for who you are. Even though I’m the only man at the floor where I work I think it’s important to see every colleague as a human and gender isn’t relevant.

Romance & Masculinity

As I talk big game in my yet-to-be-finished Bio, I thought I'd best provide a real-life example of what Romance and Masculinity mean to me and the role they play in my life. The point I am hoping to get across is that, for me, romance, to be a romantic, is a way of life, connected directly with… (edited) read more

5. Attention — How Much Complexity Can I Manage?

A model can become so detailed that using it requires more effort than solving the problem itself. I have found it useful to distinguish between the complexity of the underlying system and the amount of information I need to work with at a particular moment. A project may contain dozens of… read more

it’s a wonderful life (1946)

it’s kind of crazy how a movie made almost 80 years ago can still feel this relevant today. it’s not just a christmas movie, it’s a reminder that even when you feel like you’re not doing enough with your life, you might mean more to people than you realize i wrote a little more about what makes… read more

Dinosaurs?

I just started watching this show two weeks ago and Im in love, I've been rewatching it over and over again. It's so damn funny. I love sitcoms it reminds me of the earlier seasons of the Simpsons, which is funny because they actually referenced this show in season 2 I believe. This is such a good… read more

I'd rather listen to the opinions of people I can resonate with than those of people who will never mean anything to me.

Some words stay relevant across centuries..

The more i understand people, the more i value authenticity.

I just finished reading "I, Robot" by Isaac Asimov

This book is mind blowing and amazingly relevant for today. Written in 1950s, it is such an accurate prediction of the moral/philosophical dilemmas we'll need to address very soon once when AI will also combine with robotics. This is part of my return-to-the-clasaics where I plan to re-read some… read more

Car Culture anyone?

Is car culture relevant on this app? If you’re in the JDM scene hmu. I need more car homies and homegirls.

What do you see in the chocolate?

I feel like this is relevant not only in food but also art. Our chocolate machine has a leak in it and it makes very fascinating drizzle sculptures. I personally see a wizard in this one what are you guys see?

What should I do on this app?

Edit: I post this to the philosophy universe because I believe philosophy to be the community that I am most strongly attached to. But I will add a little philosophical element at the end to make it more relevant as well. This is such a random open ended question but I don't really know what I… (edited) read more

Cuddle therapy 🫂

Do you have enough tactility in your life? If you are experiencing a lack in this, would you like to have cuddle therapy? Could it be relevant? Could you pay for it and understand that there are certain rules and this is only a platonic contact that does not go beyond certain boundaries? Would… (edited) read more

NEW: MAPPA, the anime studio known for Chainsaw Man, Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Vinland Saga, etc. says that it's entering into a new Partnership with Netflix. In their joint comment they say they are looking forward to having "a new global perspective."

The State of Anime 2026 Address: There is a battle within anime right now and there are two camps of thoughts. 1) There are the Japanese purist artists who believe that Anime should be Japanese stories, written by and for Japanese people, and from a Japanese perspective. 2) There are studio… read more

I became interested in what stands behind the decisions of rulers. What makes a person look at a society not simply as a collection of identities, beliefs and social groups, but as a complex system of people, knowledge, resources and relationships? Why would a medieval ruler choose to invest in… read more

The universe has sent you into your family for a reason. You are not the result of generational trauma. You are the healing your family needs. You are the cycle breaker your future generation needs. You are here to end dysfunctional patterns. You are relevant.

ADHD Kitty

Conversing with ADHD is like playing poker against your own mind. Every pause is a risk-benefit analysis: 'If I play this card now, will I derail the conversation? Is this info relevant or just interesting?'. What people call 'zoning out,' I call real-time tactical calculation. The CPU is running… (edited) read more

A stone that cannot be warmed is useless. Raising someone who cannot be tamed is ungrateful.

I recently heard this phrase "a stone that cannot be warmed is useless, raising someone who cannot be tamed is ungrateful". To me it sounded like a blend of some metaphorical wisdom from different traditions, though it is not some direct quotation from any canonical source. So I looked it from… read more

Best films of the decade

Killers of the Flower Moon is probably my favorite film of the decade so far. What King Hale (De Niro) says about people not caring and forgetting is so disgustingly relevant when compared to the apathy most American's are drowning in.

I think that NF as a rapper is more relevant than Eminem.

I base my opinion on NF still releasing music and it being very relevant in especially today's environment. Eminem is doing charity work and sometimes still rapping at venues, but after Houdini there hasn't been anything interesting. Shady is back to sleep and I don't know who's going to wake him… read more

is the pursuit of comfort actually ruining humanity?

i've been reading 'thus spoke zarathustra' by Friedrich Nietzsche, and his concept of the 'last man' is so incredibly relevant today. he describes a future where humans only care about comfort, safety, and cheap entertainment, completely avoiding any struggle or greatness. so my question is: has… read more

Just finished reading Metamorphosis, and it surprised me how relevant it still feels today.

More than a century has passed since Kafka wrote it, yet not much has changed. Most of us still live routine, trivial lives, caught up in work that exhausts us while knowing we are ultimately replaceable. Only a few people get the chance to truly discover who they are; the rest, like Gregor, carry… read more
