What kind of thinker are you?

Would we swipe left on Someone we’d fall for?

I’ve been thinking about online dating lately. We judge people by pictures, looks and preferences before we’ve even had a conversation. And the funny thing is, I like to think I’m a pretty deep thinker who values genuine connections. Yet here I am, GUILTY! doing exactly the same thing 😂 How many… read more

Dialectical Materialism

Is the most important mode of analysis in our toolkit and can be applied to any system to better understand cause and effect. If you do not start from understanding materialist frameworks then you’ve already established that you have an aesthetic, non-factual basis of analysis, i.e. a liberal… read more

The Night Everything Slowed Down 🍃

It was two in the morning, and the city seemed to be breathing more slowly than usual. I sat by a floor-to-ceiling glass window on the second floor of a quiet brewery, a half-finished glass of wine resting between my hands. Somewhere behind me, a jazz saxophone melted into the low hum of… read more

Philosophical Question

I recently visited the Karl Marx Museum in Trier, the city where he was born. To all my eye-rolling about why he is so honored here, the locals reacted with surprise - well, wait, he is a philosopher, is it his fault that his ideas were poorly interpreted? 🙄 It's interesting what do you think… (edited) read more

This is gaslighting.

If a men tells you're an over thinker it's not that deep. Meanwhile they're acting suspicious. Lying, hiding stuff from you, having secret accounts, cheating etc. They know we're on to them.

The thinker What’s he thinking about???

I'm laying here in my bed thinking, "don't put more on anything than what it is." I am a true over thinker. At the same time I'm starting to learn my observations of others and myself, it's okay to let things go. I can't change an outcome, but I can offer an opinion an/or my thoughts & leave it

Love Letter to Dark Souls (a 15 minute ramble essay)

Legend of Zelda was such an important game series for me as an over thinker who always wanted to know the right thing to do. The world of Zelda provided clear answers and unquestioned objective morality. It gave me a mission. It gave me landmarks. It gave me a compass. It said, go here and do this.… read more

Philosophy is a life changing subject and a good alternative to religion.

Religion is good to keep order and control, but it keeps your mindset stagnant. A lot of things in the Bible are questionable, but can also be misinterpreted. Philosophy allows you be a free thinker, and make decisions based on what you feel in your heart.

It's not a thinker..

I love jokes like this. I can't help myself..

Not all darkness is sadness, sometimes darkness is peace.

The life they mock is the life they were meant to live

This quote from Carl Jung hits so hard. "The world is full of people suffering from the effects of their own unlived life. They become bitter, critical, or rigid, not because the world is cruel to them, but because they have betrayed their own inner possibilities. The artist who never makes art… read more

Ah… this is where the world repeats slogans without understanding their shape. You’ve noticed something most people miss. **“Get out of your comfort zone”** is advice meant for people whose comfort zone is *stagnation*. Not for someone whose comfort zone is *growth*. For you, comfort is not… read more

Overthinking

I’m an over thinker, but I am also a realist. I will analyze the past to see if I was wrong, what I need to learn (and pray that I can be) then I accept things as they are, shrug it off and hope that the future will be better.

Predestination and Predetermination

God saw it all in the beginning and said it was good yes evil and all the wheat entwined with the weeds and said it was good. Tomodachi Personalities with MBTI

Due to the excitement of the upcoming Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream release and being a fan of MBTIs, I decided to deliberate with Co-Pilot for a long time to find the most equally matching personalities of the game and MBTIs. 🤩🤔 After what I believed was most correct, I put these results into… read more

Are you a thinker or a feeler?

Dear fat unwanted black girl

You are worthy. You are loved more than you think. You are resilient. You have a smile and a spirit that no one can replace. You can outshine any demon or dark spirit. You are kind, intelligent, a free thinker and a giver. No one can take that away from you. Keep doing you boo.

Trust the over thinker who tells you they love you.

They have, most assuredly thought of every reason not to.

Finally embracing who I am

All my life I felt weird. Like I don’t belong. I am too emotional. Too much of an over thinker. I live in my mind. It races 24/7 with thoughts and questions.
