Ya know what's interesting... I've had people thank me for my service when I'm in my exercise shorts, since they say air force. I tell them it's not necessary, I was just in ROTC but I was an armed guard. Some people assume I was in the national guard, than I tell them no I was a security guard for 3 years. I get 2 different responses. 1. Civilians usually just apologize for the mistake and act like being a guard doesn't count. 2. A service member ends up saying something like "wow, props to you. I couldn't do what you did. At least I know I have back up, you're here all alone." 2 very different responses. I just thought it was interesting. (edited)

The most boring yet exciting job.
I am not saying what exactly I do, but I literally have the most boring job. I sit and watch screens all day on the off chance something happens. Sometimes it happens sometimes it doesn't but usually in 6.5 hr shift it's just staring at nothing. Anyone have an epicly boring job? (edited)
