Meeting a fiend on the street: what do you do?

Let's say it's 2am and you're going home from work. You walk through the street, and as it happens no one else is around. We can't have a horror setting without the solitude lol. You look across the street and there's something standing in the shadow, looking back at you. You can recognise the silhouette - it's the monster you always thought imaginary. What's a good horror movie to you?

For me a good horror movie is something I can't really predict something that will keep me on my toes and still manage the catch me off gaurd. I THINK INSIDIOUS was the one to do it so far.
