I have always said that the NFL is about players and college is about coaches because the players enter the draft or graduate they don't have 10 or 15 year college carreers and the better the player in college the shorter college carreer they will have because they will enter the draft as soon as possible so what Nick Saban above all others accomplished was remarkable to compete for and win so many championships with so many different kids we will probably never see it again but what I'm writing this post about is the way college coaches bounce around from school to school we just established that winning in college is about coaching because coaching involves recruiting as much as designing plays so I get going from division 2 to division 1 but you look at the new Alabama coach he fell short at IU so he left for Washington he fell short at Washington even though he came close now he has fallen short again unless you all believe Alabama won't lose at least one more game and sneak into the playoffs and make a run I don't I mean if you are in division 1 does geography matter Urban Meyer won at Florida and Ohio state Saban won at LSU before Alabama I think this new college football will separate the wheat from the chaf wich is why I'm rooting for IU because if they have that magical type season that has been previously unheard of in college because their has never been pairrety in college football but this man has built a team in one season even though more people want to talk about Colorado who got blown out by Nebraska who IU just beat the breaks off of and Ohio state should of lost to I watch alot of football and I have a memory that alot of TV series try to make seem like a super power and this IU team if you have not watched them yet you should now their starting quarterback got injured in the first half of the Nebraska game and I had not watched them much before that because it was IU and I just figured they had not played any one yet they are still looking very good with the red shirt freshman who is the future any way but that starter the half I saw him play with his precision throwing the football they could beat any body because they are not just able to beat you one way they can throw it they can run it they have a very opportunistic defense and they make big plays on special teams I don't claim to know it all or that I'm always right but watch an IU game and tell me at the very least they are not the most fun team to watch this year so as I said if this coach at IU in the first year there wins it all then maybe it's about coaching and not geography after all if a guy cannot inherit what the greatest to ever do it left in the cupboard then geography ain't the formula
