Dragon Ball comes to mind immediately, but if I really think about it, I vaguely remember Ranma and Rurouni Kenshin might have been one of the first animes I watched, when I didn't know anime was even a thing.

Mine was also Princess Mononoke, those graphic, brutal scenes were amazing as a kid and I loved every character. Hayao Miyazaki is a genius for all his work ofc which I hope introduced a lot of westerners to anime.

What a joy!

Binged the anime and loved every bit of it! I would love to hear some people's thoughts on it but to be honest this was the first in a long while I really enjoyed a newer anime. Happy to find more recommendations of animes like this (I won't watch Mushoku Tensei though I'm sorry).
