If I'm not automatically good at something or don't see progress quickly, i get very frustrated and toss it aside. Can anyone who has also experienced these feelings give advice on how to allow myself to be a beginner, and, how they pushed past it?

Yeah. It exists. I experience it every day. 😌

Strip away the romance, the ideals, the expectations, and what remains? Self-love, more accurately, self recognition. The love that sparks from within. Life itself.✨

Think of it like this: You have one life to nurture, to grow, to fully experience, that life is that which you are living. If you saw yourself from an outside perspective, wouldn’t you want to be everything you seek in others for yourself first? If you love you, wouldn't you want the best for you? The overflow of that aspect of self perception usually attracts people who embody that same energy to gravitate to you.🧘🏾

I know for certain, I would avoid people who deprive the love I have for me from me. More often you'll realize those kind of individuals lack the capacity to love themselves deeply, which makes them incapable of loving others authentically.

At the end of it all, love is what brings you closer to your authentic self. If something pulls you away from who you are, maybe it’s worth looking at with different eyes, or rather avoiding it all together.

Sometimes I stare out the windows watching this life leave me behind, sometimes I break down crying, it's all apart of the grind.
I'm losing my grip, nobody can understand me, they throw a fit, quit, I'm at my limit, I swear to heaven above, a sign is enough.

While I am gifted in writing and technical tasks, art has never come naturally to me. In school, my art teacher literally treated me like Ralph from The Simpsons...
