Is DM block (like writer's block) a thing?
So I homebrew my campaign for a few friends, and we're about 1/3 of the way through the story. The issue I've been having is I can't seem to find a way to get them to the next point in an interesting way. They know what they have to do, but they're missing a bit of information on how to do it so they're kinda in a standstill and I don't know how to help them without just telling them. Also, it's a kind of trial thing, and there are 11 total they need to clear. It's I'm worried that eventually it'll be repetitive, so do any of you have any good elemental/titan themed puzzles, battles, or anything that I could borrow for my players? They're basically going through dungeons meant to protect many different titans (Life, air, death, fire, ice, terror, arcane, water, earth tempest, rage) and I want to make every one unique and novel. They've already done water, which had a monster and a few water riddles. Any suggestion would be awesome! (edited)

I guess trials are usually best done in 3s? If you really want to f*ck with your players, create a timeloop Dungeon that relives the killing or maiming of a previous NPC that was unnecessary, and the timeloop will keep resetting only until each member of the party gives up the one item or clothing previous to them. I dunno, maybe I've watched too much Avengers End Game 😂
