Did a little TLC this week. Hair color refresh and nails done. Now... I need to get my husband to get a hair cut 🤣

Red to purple

As long as you use a blue toned purple you don't need to Bleach all of the brass tones out of your hair. They'll turn into really neat silver highlights!

Supermarket strength blonde is not so super

I dyed my hair and we arnt going to make it to blonde in one go as usual. I find you can do it in 3 or 4 but it's also really bad for your hair apparently, still got some split ends from last time I I did it, probably should give it a trim once I finish these couple of rounds (edited)

Update: Color Transferring dye

A bit of shampoo scrub under warm water and a heavy conditioning rinsed under cold cleared up the dye transfer issues from my experiment. Hair is still quite dark and I can't help thinking the longer processing time due to hair oil helped my porous ringlets soak up the pigment better. I may try… read more
