If it helps clarify, I have discussed type with all close friends and family, anyone I dated since I became interested in the subject about 8 years ago, stay current on discussions about them and have been an active participant in some form in online communities. I am confident in my understanding for some things and curious as I explore further nuances and perspectives. I have a few observations of my own as well, but they are not fleshed out enough to call them theories yet.
