I heard this quote in a show, it's very deep and utterly pessimistic. Though, I am not one to be dreary with thoughts. I do appreciate both sides of the spectrum as we would not have one without the other. Samuel Beckett1953, Waiting for Godot

Actually i like godot its lovely
Godot is hands down my favorite #PhoenixWright character

Here it is approximating 0.5
Just messing around with learning basic things, went to learn how to make number go up here. It's a fun time, even if I am still just starting out.

Hi! Haven't been on here in ages. Anyway, I'm studying classical composition and I got a 1st as my grade for my foundation year and my tutor put in my feedback that my composition named Lucky's Lament was one of the best he's seen for that module :D (it's a string quartet + tenor using Lucky's… read more
I am having the #Drawabox struggle with a buddy of mine. It has been instructive because we come at the challenge completely different, but it's been giving me better lineart results! It's the hobby Rotisserie because I am also trying to learn music theory, do some self teaching for game dev and… (edited) read more

So about a month in, I have learned I think most of the basics, but it's definitely a fun process. Like a puzzle that I gotta solve as I go along. I have been keeping lil recordings to keep a lil progress journey, but here is a screenshot of a few days ago. If you wanted to see what I started with,… read more

So I probably will make a game off Godot program tool 2D mmorpg monster tame game or turn based solo game all in all I just wanted to say it's in process.

It's been a while since I've done any coding in a real lang and mostly touched Godot (which is a scripting lang). I regret doing so even with me being a hobbiest and not a professional. Should I go through the basics again or just push myself into projects?
I've recently decided to switch from Unity to Godot. What do you use? What do you like about Godot?
I'm currently using Godot but I have used Game Maker and Unreal, as well as coding a project from scratch with no engine. I'm interested in what people like to use... And even things that you've tried that you don't like.
Been slowly learning Godot and am making a 2D platformer. Look for the game name or PhoenixDragon Media to keep up to date. I'll post more here as and when I have more if people are interested!
Hi! I'm interested in game design as a hobby, and my particular sense of humor is leading me to design an MMO that will be fun to have exist, but possibly will not be gratifying to play. The game is intended as a commentary on capitalism, and will be mostly run by NPCs with whom the players will… read more

Done it in godot, programmed it myself based on prev (beth titles) and made the threshold automate between 3rd and 1st person manually and via toggle. Gameplay is lacking but I had to put this on hold while family is in the hospital.
Got a humble bundle like a year ago that was a massive tutorial pack for godot so I think I'm gonna try and learn godot . Probably just as a hobby at first but I think it'll be fun to try out game design.
One of my favorites from the past few months. Godot, Edelgard, Piranha Plant and my avatar walking through Miitopia. I just had to include Edelgard because she was my first waifu in Three Houses

I’m very curious do we have any game developers here? If so what engine are you using? For me I’m solo developer using the godot engine learning pixel art and python since gd script is combining language of python and Java script. Working on smaller projects first.
This is just the sky box, don't assume I did anything fancy yet

In Godot I use a node based state machine. Don't worry about the node part, still functions exactly like a state machine. Nodes just let me have a way to drag and drop a node from my scripts and run it from the parent while having the other nodes do nothing. I remember a programmer and I butting… read more
I have been learning godot using zenva online academy. It's been really fun and streamline so far. Got a humble bundle in 2020 with a bunch of modules and finally started using em.

It is a strong and flavourful coffee, but at the end it tastes…bitter
