Same can be said with men. Especially when not treated fairly. From personal expierence I know. I mentally broke up with a girl before physically and the time between the two was me figuring out how to amicably end things for context this girl had spoken openly to friends about planning on cheating on me, being caught cheating on me by said friends, being verbally abusive and controlling, tried to isolate me from friends and family trying to make me keep what was said and done secret even when there was no need. Eventually I did physically end it and a year later she tried to get me back but I refused other wise I would have no self respect considering I had already given her a second chance by that point when she first said she had changed. Who were her friends orginally had helped me through this by talking to me about everything and helped me to get her to leave me alone peacefully. The girl has messaged me since to ask how I am and stuff and tried to get involved in my life again and I have yet again politely asked her leave me alone. The moral of the story is that both sides of a realtionship need to be nice, polite and respectful of one another.
