Angeles wildflowers + a little snake

I'm not gonna lie, once you get up to the tops of the mountains the little purple flowers (from the second picture) have such an amazing aroma. This hike is Hoyt mountain which isn't too far up highway 2 here in LA. Most of the hike is very reasonable, but the last segment is a bit rugged (edited)

Rudranath Trek

Last year, I made the trek to Rudranath Temple, a physically exhausting journey across steep ascents, rugged trails, and high-altitude meadows. It wasn’t an easy walk by any measure. It's the toughest among the Panch Kedar trek.
