Does anyone know a open-source applications for linux that can identify a hacker attack and add the ip to the ufw blacklist automatically?

I have a VPS that daily receives many requests from applications that checks for vulnerabilities. I identified the IPs, but it is a little bit demanding analizing the log and look for IPs that tries to exploit my website. Is it a good approach to block IPs?
