I think other variables weren't controlled for in this experiment. We don't know if that actually caused the outcome because there were other things that could've caused the outcome that weren't eliminated by the experiment design. We can't draw a conclusion from this, however the results are interesting and I think it deserves to be studied again, just with a different design.
