Pessimist vs optimistic

Everyone is different . Some people are forever the pessimist. Never happy, negative , or enjoy to annoy people. I wonder is it because th er it depressed , unhappy with their life or just a pain in the AZz? Glass half full or half empty sorts. Myself half full. I’ve had my share of problems , troubles , but always had hope. Try to look at the bright side of life.
