Not movie. Dark room. No chance to actually get to know someone. Nope. Game night or gaming, possibly. Downside is it'd be in public and that makes it a group thing sometimes. Same issue. Imo the best is a low investment date (time and money) based on an activity that interests both parties but allows for conversation and bonding.
