Findings: I have been calibrating this sensor for 2 weeks now. At the first weeks of calibration I was getting standard 400-500 ppm (particle per million) from the air. As weeks of consistent calibrating passed I'm getting around 50-100 ppm standard, which I can say is calibrated. When I present alcohol to the sensor the values spike to 400-500ppm. The sensor needed atleast 24-48 hours of calibration time to get accurate measurements. Currently working on our capstone a device that prevents motorcycle drivers from accessing their motorcycles if they'reintoxicated. We aim to reduce intoxicated driving and to prevent deaths from it. Based on my findings around 21% of the accidents are from intoxicated driving.
