This anime will either change your life or or possibly ignite a passion for the sweet science called boxing. A slice of life sports genre mostly based in reality. Many if the references in the show relate to real boxing icons and techniques. There is a humorous dynamic between the main characters, keep in mind this series began in the 80's there are bits of dated comedy but it still holds up to this day. Although I began my "First Step" with Ippo years ago, I've been a life long fan ever since. I'm not alone, check the reviews and videos, everyone who has seen this show absolutely enjoys it. You might even learn a thing or two about boxing. I mean this series has been in print since 1989 and is still going on to this day (regrettably the manga is not available in English at retail) There will be fights that have you cheering as if you were watching a PayPerView event. You too will want to know what it truly means to be strong. It's currently available through many streaming channels, so wrap up your hands put on your gloves and take your "First Step".
