New Bass day

My Sire M6 Headless bass came in before I went to work today.

Sweet Sensation - If Wishes Came True

Haven’t seen a bass cover of this beautiful song yet, so I might as well give it a shot. Full song in the comments, copy and paste into your browser, no app needed.

Debarge - Who’s Holding Donna Now

My favorite song of theirs. Would change the note length in a few places, but I do just play for fun. The bass is a 7 string “Zdressy” fretless I bought from China for my 40th birthday. Ash, 14 lbs, rock solid construction, but cheap pickups. I wired them directly to the output jack and gutted the… (edited) read more

The Rumble

The E string gets plucked, a thunderous sound The power insures the vibrations go round Feel the reverberation inside Even if deaf there's nowhere to hide A pattern emerges, played on the strings The foundation of songs and all that it brings The pattern's soon ending while rocking you… read more

First post. Bass cover.

I’m big on late 70s-early 90s music, especially lite pop/rock and love songs. Always loved this mashup of Skynyrd and Frampton, turned into something light and beautiful. Also into 80s-2000s country. Working on improving with the 14 pound beast, which needs 2 straps for my skinny frame. Even my 5… (edited) read more

Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonight

Did this one as a suggestion from someone here. Very simple but beautiful song. This one is upstairs where it is warmer. Nothing fancy. Phone wedged between keyboard keys to film. Sound from CD player and cheap little practice amp. I played with local bands in the 1990s, but now just play at home… (edited) read more

Exploring piccolo bass

Overdubbed several tracks played on short-scaled piccolo bass to make this video cover. Any difference with just a guitar? Yes! Tone, hands positioning, neck allows to apply bass techniques. (Check famous piccolo bass-players: Stanley Clarke, Michael Manring)

RIP Bonnie Tyler

Holding Out For A Hero. Careful, it’s a bit louder than the others. I finally found a free volume booster app. Full song in comments. Copy and paste link into your browser. No app needed.

Bass :)

By far my favorite Daft Punk song for this bass line alone

No need to ask for the title, it's the only phrase in the entire song and it is repeated 144 times throughout 😛

A beautiful addition to my collection.

I have a new bass ✨
