Mixing some Melodic Techno
Was going through some old renixes and found this remix I made of "Rushing Back" a while ago. Decided to flip it and give it a massive, emotional melodic bass drop. Still kinda proud of how this one turned out
Hello ☺️ As the title says, I'm looking for good (Melodic) Death Metal bands. Preferably rather unknown, unique. Thanks in advance ☺️
If metal isn’t what I’m feeling it’s this.
It isn’t really structured, and I need to write a lead line for the guitar. But does this work? Our target sound is like Counterparts realistically, but I draw influences from all kinds of stuff like Periphery, Dead and Divine, Metalcore in general, also a bit of melodic death metal. Thanks in… read more
Can't wait to see BB live in summer.
Personally I'm a big fan of pop/punk mixes and the contrast of their songs from the high melodic almost hymnal vocals and the hard screams and growls is just music to my ears.

This song man.....explores themes of moving forward, relationships, and personal struggles. Alternative and melodic indie/rock
My friends from the band got this out to me. I’ve been listening to this band since middle school, give them a listen if you’re into death metal and black metal, they’re very melodic and make amazing music.
I am bored, so thought I would do this. Before I get into in. It should be noted (for the uninitiated) that to say that Devin Townsend has variation is a slight understatement. In vocals alone I truly believe he is unmatched in his range, both in genre and in vocal range. Working through his… (edited) read more
How do you do? I'm a huge fan of the Paul Di'Anno era Iron Maiden. I love the mix of power and instrumental melodic virtuosity of metal with the unrelenting energy of punk. I don't think I've heard anything quite like this. Does anyone know any records from other bands with similar sound? Paul… read more
Mine would have to be Planet Caravan or Solitude I think, I’m really drawn to the melodic, mellow and mysterious atmosphere of these songs.
I wrote all these songs in one night... imagine a carnival theme. Wrote them in the style of dance Gavin dance 01 only with my eyes closed (melodic) ___________________________ (clean) only with my eyes closed can I stand your sight a bitter taste, a secret place (unclean) a total… read more
The Mist From The Mountains (Melodic Black Metal) DART (Speed metal/punk) Vähänkyro Drive By (Grindcore)
Jazzy sample. Rolling drums. Flowing melodic vocals. From someone who just started releasing music in 2024, Frey is killing it!

I prefer power metal (Blind Guardian, Iron Savior, Rhapsody, Helloween, Sonata Arctica, Nightwish) and melodic black metal (Mork Gryning, Nattfog, Alghazanth, Sielunvihollinen, Minas Morgul, Goatmoon) But if I had to pick one, I would pick power metal
They are described as melodic death metal but listen to them then decide

I love how nature calms my nerves. Hearing the ocean breeze, the waves crashing on the shore, the melodic chirping of birds and the smell of the grass as the sun rises are just some of the things that make me want to come back to nature every single time. Do you feel the same way?
Well, I'm new here, so apologies for the incredibly cliche question, everyone. I'm usually a sucker for Melodic Black Metal (e.g. Dissection, Dawn, Sacramentum, etc.), but I gotta listen to some of your recs, as well! I'm all ears for something completely different. Oh, and "Storm Of The Light's… read more
This would be a tough one for myself since there's alot of albums out there I really love. I think personally for me it would have to be the album called Incorrigible bigotry by Arghoslent, by far one of the best Melodic death albums I've ever heard since the riffs and melodies are S tier. I have been listening to Sleep Token way too much for the last 2 years. I find what they do is genius. Mixing genres has been tried before, but never as sucessful as they have done it. As a recording and producing enthusiast, I am amazed by their mixes. Their song writing and melodic sense is… (edited) read more
