Got degrees and had projects to work on, but in my years of seeing people coming n going - nobody is hired for coding based on their education but rather based on the portfolio they have.. this applies to all kinds of coding and development.. employers would want to look at the languages and platforms you can work on and also the projects you have worked on previously.. This is because education only teaches you basics and fundamentals, not the actual thing.. the actual thing comes only through practice and really getting hands on.. (edited)
