(Proud Canadian) Alberta gal lookin for likeminded folks!

I can do both! I love to fish, grew up in a non-squeamish hunting family, and love to be out in the woods enjoying nature/looking for creatures! But I also love my chill days in, watching horror movies, or other media ^^ All I ask is you’re not a jackass! Sepratists need not apply, but I think… read more

Heyyy

Since it's Halloween, tell me something that happened to you that nobody believed. And do you believe in vampires, mermaids, or other creatures?

Is it my tism?

I dress like a red-light district veteran plus piercings, sneakers, and all. You don’t get taken seriously professionally when you’re sporting a glittery zebra-print manicure. Yet, I refuse to dress conventionally; it would kill my soul. The first time it happened, I was 26. I’d just landed a… read more

A Kushy Poem

Unfurling Unfurling unto the world both ancient and new A light in the darkness, mists in the dew A glimmer in the void, shadows long to find This light in my chest, this light that's mine A light in the mist Bathes in shadows that twist Darknesses encroach Endevouring beyond reproach To smother… read more

Food for thought

I have an idea.. as an entity existing somewhere in space and time, I'd like to create something. Either recreationally or professionally; it doesn't really matter, at least not for the thing I wish to create. I wish to create a living creature, which I have the means to do. In fact, I wish to… read more

The Animal at the Edge of Me.

I have spent enough nights listening to an empty house breathe back at me, enough nights lying beside the hollow shape where another body should have been, with my arms remembering a weight they could no longer reach. There is a particular cruelty in that kind of silence. It does not arrive… read more

To be honest, I don’t really like seeing animals ‘kept in cages’, but they seem to be quite comfortable here (I hope so). I wish all animals get a decent life. Humans aren’t the only creatures living in this world.

Silence day “ NYEPI”

We celebrate this balinese ceremony once a year. Usually we show statues called “ogoh ogoh”. Ogoh-ogoh are large, artistic statues made in Bali that represent evil spirits (bhuta kala). They are an important part of the celebration before Nyepi. 👹 What do ogoh-ogoh look like? • Usually giant,… read more
