Cuneiform Account of Barley c1780-1762 BCE

This tablet was written in Akkadian cuneiform and records amounts of barley delivered as the miksu-tax of one of the "soldiers of the palace gate." There follow other amounts for the soldier of Dur-Zabban, who is under the authority of an "Amorite" chief. The tablet is dated to the month Mammitum,… read more

How many games do you own?

If I could I would share my entire collection, but let's start off with just Steam alone. I have currently 136 titles. My largest library is a little under 400 for the PlayStation, and around 100 for the Xbox. I also have multiple retro and handle devices with around 50 titles there as well.… read more

Apple would love this

There's a fan made PC port of Sonic Dream Team made by Beatz out now, and it's really good. I just set it up on my Steam Deck, and it works so well! I don't have any Apple devices and don't like subscription services, so I'm really happy right now. This is basically a new Sonic game to me.

How many devices 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Purrrr 🐱🐈

Purrrr is an application that allows you to give croquettes to stray cats through devices such as small huts with croquette dispensers ! I thought the app was so cute !

How would they know?

How do you know that they're listening to my devices you ask? I just streamed for an hour and mentioned pizza a few times. Immediately on YouTube afterwards I get an ad for Dominos.

Most ridiculous food thing you made.

It's been a few years and wish I had more photos available but in my late 20's I made this, the meat scorpion! It took, 2 days of prep 8h of cooking and timing on 5 different devices to assemble this monstrosity hot and ready in 5 min. Had help during assembly and I didn't weld the frame or make… (edited) read more

Setting up phone to fully control desktop/laptop PC

Yesterday, I set up bVNC on my Android phone, along with Tailscale, so that no matter where I am on planet Earth, so long as I have an internet connection I can access my desktop PC from my phone and do anything I could do on my desktop PC from my phone. Granted, with the important limitation that… (edited) read more

Nostalgia

I’ve been getting back into emulation on all my devices. It’s been absolutely incredible playing some of my all time favorites from childhood on the 🚽 💩.

😆

My man left me to my own devices for the night!!

Ai Mini Device

I am currently developing an AI system that can communicate naturally with users and integrate with MQTT and management systems. The goal is to connect AI with real-world devices, automation, monitoring, data management, and remote control through a single intelligent platform.

I definitely didn't just buy another rootable phone...

That makes seven. Seven devices that I either can or cannot root. This is for my programs so I can attain an autonomous agent. An autonomous agent that'll run through all my devices. An agent to help me out with daily tasks and talk to me. Because I have no friends, no life, and I'm working with… read more

Built To Connect But Lost

We once gathered under trees, on benches, in kitchens — not to scroll, but to *see* each other. Now, we carry worlds in our palms, yet feel more alone than ever. The phone is not the villain — it’s a mirror. It’s a reflection of what we’ve allowed Our world to become. A world of convenience,… read more

Fourth Places

I had some shower thoughts about shower thoughts today. I know, very meta. I realized that showers are fourth places. If you're not familiar with the reference, your first place is your home. Your second place is your work. Third places are a reference to places you can go to meet with likeminded… read more

Single Much? A Night Out, a Cold Iced Tea, and the Loneliness We Don’t Talk About

A guy bumps into me as I’m walking into the restaurant. A sting shoots down my spine—old pinched nerves from the military reminding me that my body keeps score whether I want it to or not. Car plate and real people control by remote.

I found the conspiracy theories about "5G license plates" highly entertaining—a real hoot. But let’s get serious for a moment about how a state—or anyone with access to certain technologies—can remotely monitor what you say, what you do, and who you are with while inside a car, especially one less… read more

Dundee "The Crocodile" powerbank from e-bike battery. "Is that a knife? No... This is a knife!"

What if you will out of electricity in the middle of nowhere when the sh** hits a fan? I don't want to write about addiction, and what our phones do to our brains, our satisfaction thresholds, but how has your phone, as well as your other devices, been influencing you lately? Do you feel exhausted? Is it your quiet sanctuary?

I know people hate this since it's pretty complex but...

I really find embedded development charming and very fullfiling, assembling your own devices using off the shelf electronic parts then flashing it with your own software just sits so well on my dopamine release triggers

Hacking isn't what you think, keep it simple.

Did you know that most cybersecurity on the internet isn't on other people's devices, but on your own? For example, if you want to download certain apps, you'll need to downgrade your device instead of trying to "hack" the app.
