My Studio Monitors

604 HPLN Studio monitor build. This is my now third attempt to turn these awesome 40 lb frames into the studio monitors that I know they can be. Unpopular opinion: portrait monitors are underrated. Notion, Claude, docs, terminals—everything just fits better vertically. The ultrawide handles the work; the sidekick handles the context. Which one do you prefer ?

Decided it was time to mount my old monitor as a 3rd and I’m not sure if I love it yet. It feels like over kill. How do y’all feel about 3 monitors? Is it too much?

My desk finally came..

Do games make it better?

So.... Hi guys and gals. I am a computer game maker by trade. I started playing games on computers way way back in the day on the San Jose State computer before they had monitors. (Imagine that). We had to print our moves. I went on to work at companies like SSI, EA, Imagination Network. My… read more

Updated Gaming setup

Monitors are now vertical and I added a shelf 😃

Opinion on something. . .

I'm thinking about moving the monitors so one is centered (gaming one) & the other is to the right. Also move the PS5 to the left side of the whole desk. Or should I keep it how it is? Opinions?
