Question

Can we live without smartphones? And why or why not?

I wonder

What will be the next type of cellphones, considering we have smartphones, and there's not really much to evolve from it.

Looking at you

You know what I think is missing nowadays? People talking while looking into each other's eyes. These days, most meetings in general, everything and everyone is focused on the screens of smartphones. It's sad, and that's why it's super hard to have any kind of connection, don't you agree?

Car plate and real people control by remote.

I found the conspiracy theories about "5G license plates" highly entertaining—a real hoot. But let’s get serious for a moment about how a state—or anyone with access to certain technologies—can remotely monitor what you say, what you do, and who you are with while inside a car, especially one less… read more

Smartphones are a downfall of society

Yesterday I was having lunch in the breakroom , I realize no one socializes anymore as everyone is on there smartphones. Worst yet people sit at there own table as it's like no one knows how to communicate anymore. Granted I'm a shy introvert but I do try to make an effort at times.

Honestly life would be so much better without

Smartphones, social network etc...

People currently in their 30s got screwed the hardest in society.

I think people currently in their 30s, mid Millennials, have it the worst in modern society. Born too late to experience actual love and romance or a good economy, unlike Gen X'ers (most of whom are married right now.) Born too early to not care about losing your privacy and sanity like Zoomers,… read more

(polite) smartphones: good or bad

I'm looking to expand my horizons a bit, please refrain from engaging for lols or trolls. Nor do I seek advice, I want to know where you stand on this.

It focuses on phones and smartphones we see nothing, we hear nothing we don't talk to each other at all... And so time flies... more and more toys... less and less human behavior

🥺😥

How do you think smartphones will be in 10 years?

In 2032, they're likely to be more advanced.

Should there be more legal restrictions on kids internet/electronic use?

The point of keeping children innocent and not teaching them about the ugliness of the world until l8r, is to instill the ideology of goodness in them so they can recognize that bad isn't, should never be how things are SUPPOSED to be. Disrupting early development with exposing kids to the… read more

Which one?

Which would you get rid of, if you can and why?

If someone can't tell another person how they feel over a text message then how are they ever going to be able to tell them in real life ? Communication is a big problem with people nowadays although let's be honest it's been a problem for years smartphones have only compounded it ( ironically) (edited)

Technical Difficulties

The Boo app crashes (closes on its own accord) several times a day or every 15 minutes or so. Is my phone the only one reminding me to log off Boo or do other users have smartphones too? 😅😅😅

Visiting Hampi the capital of Vijayanagara empire, makes you feel like you need to travel back in time and understand the Indian culture and religion more. In a world of smartphones and ai technology can't imagine how life was in simpler times

Do you think smartphones made the world a better or worse place?

Smartphones are addictive and affect negatively on our cognitive skills. There should be a law that bans them and instead, we should use PDAs with green display.

Smartphones - Good/Bad social impact and interhuman relationships

I believe that smartphones in the age of advancement have great impact on communication, however I feel that they somehow make interhuman relationships far worse than it used to be before modern technologies. Where do you find people?

Last time I looked, smartphones and apps were not a thing. My options were college or work, now they are not options. I know you people used to go to like bars and stuff, but I'm not a drinker or a outer type person.

AI can read your mind & AI controls your fears, imagination, desires and etc

So what's better for controlling someone if not to let them do wjat we want? same does the AI.
