Trying to carve a leather stamp. anyone know if it will work with wood. all stamps I've seen are metal wondering if that's for durability of stamp or something else I might not have considered  it's not done but sitting here wondering if there's something I don't know I need to know.

I want to try and make plant holders and a wall hanging tea bag holder, but I'm not a handy person. I can imagine how they look but knowledge on the kind of tools i need isn't there. Can anyone on boo givyne advice and tips for this project?

I'm looking to make soaps and bath bombs. The bath bombs looks tloke they will be cheap and safe to make.
The soap is what worries me. I don't want to use lye, but google is saying lye has to be used for soap made drom scratch and melt and pour is the only safest way to do soap. Has anyone experimented with soap and foind a vetter, cheaper way to make solid soaps or is lye truly a must have and several attempts have already been made?
