Just used cyano-acrylic 10sec glue to put broken part together, then made metal reinforcements with metal wavy staples and plastic welding gun, smoothed out surface, filled critical places with hot glue and used structural bumper spray paint. Voila!

I made this for my cat, Munchie. She likes to sit in these after scratching. She doesn't chew so the paint is ok. I made this out of strips cut from delivery boxes with some glue and tape stuffed into one of the nicer, sturdier boxes. Imagine a pissed looking gray cat sitting in this 😀

Is anyone able to tell me if glue can be used as a varnish?
For me personally if boiled potatoes are blended the whole thing turns into a thick glue - disgusting. And reheating such soups is a literal blasphemy (Gordon Ramsay for the win).

Carved out the triskelion, added the wood chippings and dust from the carving with some glue and painted it all to give it an old stone with moss look.
Currently building a book nook rn and a piece slanted after I glued it. Now I am replying the glue and waiting 2 hours so it won't slant again.
